It always confuses me when someone posts something and makes a claim, but then includes a screenshot or link that contradicts what they claimed.

A few years ago, I performed a interesting experiment. I looked at news from a variety of sources, from a variety of political persuasions and checked to see how accurate their reporting was.
The method I used was quite simple. If a news story mentioned a resource (a law, a bill, a document, a court order, a surveillance video, etc.), I would look up the original document and see if what was there matched what as in the story.
I found that most of the time, the story was either inaccurate or misleading... usually both.
Either they misstated what was in the original document, or, more often, they left out key information that changed the entire context of the situation.
