When people propose new political, social, and economic systems, they often are idealists, and envision how they think it is supposed to work. Me, being a student of history, instead look at how it could be corrupted. Because, as history has shown us, some people will always try to corrupt such systems to suit their own purposes. You can't just plan for the ideal use. You also have to plan for attempted abuse and try to prevent or mitigate it as much as possible.
