How do set permissions for a calDAV calendar

How to set permissions for a calDAV calendar under /cdav/calendar

Next to each name of calDAV calendar there are three icons: edit, download, delete.

"edit" is (only ) for changing the name and color of the calDAV calendar. "Download" and "Delete" are obviously not made for setting permissions.

How to set the permission in order to let other channels to read/write my calendar entries.

I know I am asking this for the third time and I am sure I set both read and write permission for other channels.

There should be a fourth button to share with. See attached photo.

sharing a calDAV calendar only is possible to channels on the same hub

I recently received a "birthday" event from a channel on a different hub. It wound up in my calendar on my hub. How did they do that?

thanks, solved. I used Chromium instead oft Firefox.

@Scott M. Stolz you are talking now about the event calendar - this is different to the calDAV calendar.

all created events of your contact show up in your channel event calendar - if a contact has filled in the birthday in this profile - the channel event calendar will list this date aslo

How do you create events? I couldn't find any documentation on that.

Go to your calendar. Click on the month, or day view. It will show 'new event' after you click. Click on 'new event' and fill out the details.

@Grouchy Do you need special permissions for that? None of my installations have a "New Event" button on any of the calendar pages.

It's not a button. You just click in the calendar and an event is created called 'New Event'. Then click on that event to edit it. See the attached screencast.

Sorry, my mouse does not show in the screencast. But I clicked in the white space where 'new event' appeared.

Does the event not appear when you click in the calendar box?
